Caster Model 3 - Plate Mount
Capacity up to 350 pounds per caster. These casters are ideal for most types of equipment and projects weighing less than 1000 lbs. and are offered with a wide selection of wheels. Used by businesses and consumers for many unique applications. This is our most popular product.
Features:
  • Swivel Construction - Stamped steel. Swivel has double ball bearing with hardened raceways. Metal cover shields swivel bearings from dirt and dust.
  • Center Pin - 1/2" diameter steel rivet.
  • Axle - 3/8" diameter bolt with lock nut.
  • Wheel Bearing - PS= Precision Sealed Ball Bearings, B= Ball Bearings, D= Delrin Bearings,
    RB= Roller Bearing, P= Plain Bore
  • Finish - external metal parts are Zinc plated.

You should never select on the basis of load capacity alone. There is no industry standard for load capacity ratings and they may not include a factor for abuse. Our capacity ratings are below what the casters are capable of carrying because most applications have less than perfect conditions. Please refer to the information shown at the bottom of this page. Caster Model 3 Quick Change Plate

 A zinc plated quick change plate gets bolted to your equipment and enables the casters to be easily and quickly installed or replaced (changed) without using tools.

THIS DOES NOT FIT OUR MODEL 3A TOTAL LOCKING CASTER !!!!!!
Do NOT use with RIGID Casters
Quick Change Plate - Zinc Plated 3QCP-01-ZN

Deduct 1/4 lb. for weight of rigid caster.
Use the Polyolefin ( Industrial Plastic ) wheel for "Standing Loads". Polyolefin wheels eliminate the possiblilty of a flat spot developing if the castered equipment is left parked for a prolong period.
You should never select on the basis of load capacity alone. Capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to manually move a load. Capacity ratings are based on manual operation under ideal conditions. These casters are not to be moved by mechanically powered equipment.
